Stained Glass
In October 2006 Pearsons Glass acquired the “Art Glass” business of Bohle UK Ltd. This latest agreement means that Bohle, have withdrawn from the supply of sheet art glass and associated products in the UK and Eire. We see this as a very positive step in the art glass market and give our customers the opportunity to order Bohle products from Pearsons.
2005 saw Pearsons Glass take over of James Hetley & Co. The knowledge and expertise contained in these two companies is now under one roof. Added to this, our desire to promote stained glass as an art and as a hobby alongside its commercial applications has not diminished. This occasion was marked by the launch of a new competition within the glass industry, the “Pearsons Prize”.
We have since relocated to a purpose built depot in Greenford Middlesex.

History

Pearsons Glass was founded in Liverpool, England in 1901 as J Pearson and Company as silvering, bevelling, overmantel manufacturer and cabinet makers. In the years since then Pearsons has survived two world wars and the hand over to another family in 1977 when it became Pearsons Glass Limited.
Pearsons Glass is a founder member of the Glass and Glazing Federation and has represented the UK Glass Industry on technical, negotiation and general council committees.
Heavy investment since 1977 has seen Pearsons move 4 times; each time to bigger premises until today we have upwards of 40,000ft of warehouse space both in Liverpool, still our main headquarters, Greenford Middlesex and East Kilbride in Scotland, our satellite depots.
